Neil Wiens

CEO, CTO, Director

Mr. Wiens is the founder of Replenish Nutrients and a serial entrepreneur with a career spanning over 20 years, including the successful sale of a previous business. Mr. Wiens has extensive background and experience with businesses that transform nutrient recovery from organic waste products into valuable agricultural products. Mr. Wiens has served on the Recycling Council of Alberta and the Compost Council of Canada. Mr. Wiens holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan.

Matt Greenberg

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Greenberg is a tenured financial leader having held diverse positions in both large public companies and smaller private and non-profit organizations. Mr. Greenberg’s experience spans across numerous finance, accounting, treasury, capital markets, investor relations, tax, treasury and governance functions. A highly effective communicator and relationship builder, Mr. Greenberg has proven experience leading people, processes, systems and business to achieving targets and bottom-line results. Mr. Greenberg is a CPA, CA, and holds a Masters of Accounting and Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Saskatchewan.

Kevin Erickson

Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Erickson is a co-founder of Replenish Nutrients and has over 34 years of experience with 25 years in senior management roles in fertilizer research, product development and logistics in the agriculture industry. Mr. Erickson’s role in fertilizer research and development include fertilizer interactions with multiple crops, product development and certification of products for the organic and regenerative agriculture industries. Mr. Erickson holds a Project Management Professional designation along with a Diploma in Agronomy from Olds College.

Gerard Philpott

Chief Commercial Officer

Mr. Philpott is a co-founder of Replenish Nutrients and is responsible for opportunity identification and strategic growth and execution. Mr. Philpott has a track record of emerging agriculture and low carbon energy initiatives through greenfield development, mergers and acquisitions, and project execution. Mr. Philpott’s senior leadership roles span governance, strategic planning, business development, asset management, operations and engineering across the agriculture, power, pipeline, oil and gas sectors. Mr. Philpott is a registered Professional Engineer and holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, a Master of Applied Science in Environmental Engineering, and a Master of Business Administration.

Catherine Stretch

Chair

Ms. Stretch is Vice President, Corporate Affairs at Troilus Gold Corp. She has 20 years of experience in capital markets with a particular focus on the formation, development and operation of resource companies and was previously a partner and the Chief Operating Officer of a Canadian investment firm which had $1 billion in assets under management. Ms. Stretch has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and History from Western University and a Masters of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University.

Chris Best

Director

Mr. Best is an independent energy-consultant in Alberta. He has over 20 years of experience in the Alberta electricity industry, holding a variety of positions in integrated oil and gas companies, pipelines, utilities, energy marketers, and independent power producers and has represented organizations in stakeholder consultations, industry working groups and trade associations. He has experience in accounting, credit, counterparty risk, environmental policy, forecasting, marketing, business development, trading and operations groups. Mr. Best holds a B.Comm in Finance from the University of Calgary, Faculty of Management, Haskayne School of Business.

Lucas Tomei

Director

Mr. Tomei is a partner of Dentons Canada LLP and co-lead of the Corporate and Securities department in the Calgary office. He has practiced in the areas of corporate and securities law for over 16 years and has extensive experience advising issuers and investment dealers in a wide variety of public and private financings and advising companies in a wide variety of M&A transactions, business reorganizations and securities regulatory matters. He is a member of the board of directors of not-for-profit organizations Forward Housing Association and Horizon Housing Society and serves as corporate secretary for a number of private and public companies. Lucas holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Calgary.

Brad Orr

Director

Mr. Orr is a strategic leader, passionate collaborator, and critical thinker, ensuring organizations and individuals realize their full potential and achieve short- and long-term goals. Brad has extensive experience acquired over 30 years in the agricultural industry spanning sales, key account management, marketing, executive leadership, and board leadership. Brad’s past executive roles include President of Dow AgroSciences Canada, Canadian Marketing Leader for Corteva Agriscience, and National Sales Director of Dow AgroSciences Canada. He has been Chairman of the Board for CleanFarms and on the board and executive leadership teams for the Canola Council of Canada and CropLife Canada. Mr. Orr holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Manitoba.
