The Problem

Sewell Grain Farms keeps a close eye on all costs associated with production. They came to Replenish looking to squeeze out hidden costs in their farm system by using a product that could provide higher planting efficiency and improve soil health.

The Solution

Replenish provided fertilizer products and a program that benefited all stages of farming.

  • Prep – Spreading fertilizer in the fall increased nutrient availability to the plants and allowed for effective planning of spring operations. It minimized the risk of potential fertilizer shortages, price or quantity disruptions, and logistical challenges that could have resulted in costly interruptions of operations.
  • Plant – Replenish Nutrients fall fertilizer application reduced the spring workload. Fertilizer product did not have to be put through the air seeder, creating more space for seed, and reducing the time and effort required to fill-up with additional product, resulting in a decrease of seeding days.
  • Grow – Less inputs were need through out the growing season which reduced costs. Fewer overall passes meant the field experienced less compaction improving seed germination rates.

The Results

0
Days Saved Seeding vs 2021
0 %
Increase in avg seeding capability, from 320 acres to 460 acres
0 %
more efficient vs 2021

Hear Their Story

“We are gaining efficiency by not having to store product in bins, haul product to the field, and tie up air seeder tank space with that product. So gaining efficiency on manpower, less equipment, and then obviously more acres per day.”
